{"id":13314,"date":"2024-04-27T10:56:21","date_gmt":"2024-04-27T10:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.websitemodel.co.in\/?p=13314"},"modified":"2024-04-27T10:56:21","modified_gmt":"2024-04-27T10:56:21","slug":"2-crpf-personnel-killed-2-injured-in-militant-attack-in-manipur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deccandawn.in\/index.php\/2024\/04\/27\/2-crpf-personnel-killed-2-injured-in-militant-attack-in-manipur\/","title":{"rendered":"2 CRPF personnel killed, 2 injured in militant attack in Manipur"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>NEW DELHI: Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldiers were killed in action and two others were injured in a bomb attack by suspected Kuki insurgents at a camp of the Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) at Naranseina village of Bishnupur district in Manipur on Saturday.&nbsp;<br>The insurgents used &#8216;pumpy gun&#8217;, a crude form of handmade artillery, to carry out attacks on the CRPF personnel, sources said.<br>The attack began around midnight and went on until 2.15 am, sources said.<br>Top police sources said the two soldiers who died in action belonged to the CRPF&#8217;s 128 Battalion. They have been identified as sub-inspector N Sarkar and head constable Arup Saini. The injured are inspector Jadav Das and constable Aftab Das.&nbsp;<br>Militants hiding in the hills are likely to increase attacks in the coming days.
