{"id":13394,"date":"2024-04-29T14:17:26","date_gmt":"2024-04-29T14:17:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.websitemodel.co.in\/?p=13394"},"modified":"2024-04-29T14:17:26","modified_gmt":"2024-04-29T14:17:26","slug":"summer-internship-position-at-nit-karnataka-in-surathkal-last-date-to-apply-is-may-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deccandawn.in\/index.php\/2024\/04\/29\/summer-internship-position-at-nit-karnataka-in-surathkal-last-date-to-apply-is-may-6\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer internship position at NIT Karnataka in Surathkal; last date to apply is May 6\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences of the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, has invited applications for one summer internship position under the SSR Scheme of the DST-SERB Project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The position is offered under the project \u2018A study on non-linear ill-posed equations under weak conditions with emphasis on parameter identification problems and applications to imaging\u2019 funded by DST-SERB, Government of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The duration of the internship is two months (eight weeks), and the intern will get a fellowship amount of Rs 5,000 per month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The progress of the intern will be assessed every month by a committee as per DST-SERB project guidelines. If the performance is not satisfactory, the internship is liable to be terminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications required\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The summer internship programme is open to students studying at Indian universities and institutes. Applicants should be in the final or pre-final year of undergraduate (4-year duration) or final year post graduation in science or engineering with mathematics as a subject.
