BENGALURU: Noted television actor Pavitra Jayaram, who essayed the role of Thilottama in the popular Telugu TV series ‘Trinayani’, died in a car accident near Mehboob Nagar in Hyderabad on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pavitra’s cousin Apeksha, husband Chandrakant, who is also an actor, and driver Srikant sustained serious injuries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bhoothpur police said: “She died in a road accident last night at 1 am at Divitipally in Mahbubnagar district. She was travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per reports, the car lost control and hit the divider. Later, a bus coming from Hyderabad to Vanaparthi collided with the right side of the car. Pavitra, who was seriously hurt in the accident, died on the spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pavitra, who traversed both the Kannada and Telugu entertainment industries, was a popular star in the South Indian entertainment industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her husband Chandrakant shared the last photo they took with an emotional message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
