BJP worker found dead in Bengal, mother suspects TMC leaders’ involvement

PURBA MEDINIPUR: An 18-year-old BJP worker was found dead in the Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal on Friday, police said. 
Dinabondhu Middya was found dead in a betel leaf farm at Goramahal village in the district, they said.
Middya’s family accused the TMC leaders of ‘kidnapping and murdering’ him. However, they later refuted the charges.
“We were being threatened by a few members of the TMC for quite some time. My son has been missing since Wednesday, and I am sure that my son was murdered by them,” his mother, Henarani Middya, alleged. She demanded a CBI investigation into her son’s death, according to agencies. 
The police said that after receiving a missing person’s complaint, they launched a lookout for Middya. His body was located with the help of his mobile tower location, they added.
