BENGALURU: The Railways has rescheduled the Bengaluru Cantonment-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express.
Accordingly, train Nos. 20641 Bengaluru Cantonment-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express, journey commencing from Bengaluru Cantonment from April 29 to May 28, 2024 (except Thursday), will be rescheduled by 55 minutes due to line block/power block for engineering-related works between Palakkodu-Dharmapuri stations.
Regulation of Chennai-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express
Train Nos. 20664, Dr. MGR Chennai Central-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express, journey commencing from Dr. MGR Chennai Central on May 5, 2024, will be regulated for 30 minutes enroute due to a line block for the commissioning of an additional loop line at Varadapur station.
Diversion of trains
South Central Railway has notified for the diversion of the following train services due to safety-related maintenance work over Vijayawada Divison. The details are as follows:
- Train No. 12509 Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru-Guwahati Tri-weekly Superfast Express, leaving from SMVT Bengaluru on May 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, and 24, 2024, will be diverted to run via Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram Town, and Nidadavolu stations.
- Train No. 18111 Tatanagar-Yesvantpur Weekly Express, leaving from Tatanagar on May 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2024, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada stations, skipping the stoppage at Eluru station.
- Train No. 18637 Hatia-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Weekly Express, leaving from Hatia on May 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2024, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu Jn., Bhimavaram Jn., Gudivada Jn., and Vijayawada stations.
- Train No. 12835 Hatia-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Bi-weekly Superfast Express, leaving from Hatia on April 30, May 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, and 26, 2024, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada stations.
- Train No. 12889 Tatanagar-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Weekly Superfast Express, leaving from Tatanagar on May 3, 10, 17, and 24, 2024, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada stations.
Continuation of partial cancellations of trains
In view of ongoing doubling and safety-related works at Tinai Ghat Station Yard, the partial cancellation of the following train services is extended, as detailed below:
- Train No. 17333 Miraj-Castle Rock Daily Unreserved Express, which was earlier notified for partial cancellation between Londa-Castle Rock stations up to April 30, 2024, will now be further extended up to July 31, 2024.
- Train No. 17334 Castle Rock-Miraj Daily Unreserved Express, which was earlier notified of a partial cancellation between Castle Rock-Londa stations up to April 30, 2024, will now be further extended up to July 31, 2024.
