Railways to run summer special trains to clear extra rush

BENGALURU: In order to clear the extra rush during the summer, the Railways will operate special trains between various destinations.

• Train Nos. 06217/06218 Yesvantpur-Gaya Junction-Yesvantpur Summer Weekly Express Special (5 trips): Train No. 06217 will be in service every Saturday from April 27 to May 25. It will start its journey from Yesvantpur at 7.30 am on Saturday and reach Gaya Junction at 7.30 am on Monday.  In the return direction, train No. 06218 will play from April 29 to May 27 (every Monday). The train will commence its service from Gaya Junction at 23:45 hours on Monday and reach Yesvantpur at 22:00 hours on Wednesday.

• Train Nos. 07315/07316 SSS Hubballi-Muzaffarpur-SSS Hubballi Summer Weekly Express Special (5 trips): Train No. 07315 will operate every Tuesday from April 30 to May 28. The train will commence its journey from SSS Hubballi at 17:20 hours on Tuesday and reach Muzaffarpur at 13:40 hours on Thursday. In the return direction, Train No. 07316 will operate every Friday from May 3 to 31. It will start its journey from Muzaffarpur at 13:00 hours on Friday and reach SSS Hubballi at 07:00 hours on Sunday.

• Train Nos. 06225/06226 SSS Hubballi-Yog Nagari Rishikesh-SSS Hubballi Summer Weekly Express Special (5 trips): Train No. 06225 will operate every Monday from April 29 to May 27. It will start from SSS Hubballi at 21:45 hours on Monday and reach Yog Nagari Rishikesh at 18:45 hours on Wednesday. In the return direction, train No. 06226 will ply on every Thursday from May 2 to 30. It will start its journey from Yog Nagari Rishikesh at 17:55 hours and reach SSS Hubballi at 17:30 hours on Saturday.

• Train Nos. 07265/07266 Hyderabad-Arsikere-Hyderabad Summer Weekly Express Special (9 trips): Train No. 07265 will play every Tuesday from April 30 to June 25. It will commence its journey from Hyderabad at 19:10 hours on Tuesday and reach Arsikere at 12:50 hours the next day. In the return direction, train No. 07266 will service on every Wednesday from May 1 to June 26. It will start from Arsikere at 14:10 hours on Wednesday and reach Hyderabad at 08:30 hours the next day.

• Train Nos. 07231/07232 Secunderabad-Arsikere-Secunderabad Summer Weekly Express Special (9 trips): Train No. 07231 will operate every Thursday from May 2 to June 27. The journey will start from Secunderabad at 20:00 hours on Thursday and end at Arsikere at 12:50 hours on the next day. In the return direction, train No. 07232 will operate on every Friday from May 3 to June 28. The service from Arsikere will start at 14:10 hours on Friday and culminate at Secunderabad at 08:30 hours on the next day.
