BENGALURU: The South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to augment coaches on some trains on a temporary basis to clear the extra rush of passengers during the summer.
The details are as follows:
- 17302 Belagavi-Mysuru: One sleeper class will be added to the trian from May 2 to June 1, 2024.
- 06233 Mysuru-Chamarajanagar: One sleeper class will be added to the trian from May 3 to June 2.
- 06234 Chamarajanagar-Mysuru: The train will ply with an additional sleeper class coach from May 3 to June 2.
- 17307 Mysuru-Bagalkot: This train will also be operated by an additional sleeper class coach from May 3 to June 2.
- 17308 Bagalkot-Mysuru: An additional sleeper class coach will be added to this train from May 4 to June 3.
- 17301 Mysuru-Belagavi: This train will also run with an additional sleeper class coach from May 5 to June 4.
- 14806 Barmer-Yesvantpur: It will run with an additional AC-3 tier from May 2 to May 30.
- 14805 Yesvantpur-Barmer: This train will have an additional AC-3 tier coach from May 6 to June 3.
- 12845 Bhubaneswar-SMVT Bengaluru: One additional AC-3 tier will be added to the train from May 5 to May 26.
- 12846 SMVT Bengaluru-Bhubaneswar: The train will operate with an extra AC-3 tier from May 6 to May 27.
- 22883 Puri-Yesvantpur: The Garib Rath will have an additional AC-3 tier coach from May 3 to May 31.
- 22884 Yesvantpur-Puri: In the return direction, the Garib Rath will have an additional AC-3 tier coach from May 4 to June 1, according to a release by SWR.
