PUNE: Northern Railway has announced the extension of the services of the 01455/01456 Pune-Ayodhaya Cantt-Pune special train to accommodate the influx of rail passengers and clear the extra rush.
The special train, which previously operated on a limited schedule, will now run more frequently during the specified period.
The train No. 01455 Pune-Ayodhya Cantt. Bi-Weekly Special train will now operate every Friday and Tuesday from May 10 to May 31. In the return direction, train No. 01456 Ayodhya Cantt.-Pune Special Bi-Weekly Special train will service every Sunday and Thursday from May 12 to June 2.

The train will have general, sleeper, and AC coaches. Passengers are advised to check the schedule and make reservations accordingly.
Summer special train extended to Bhubaneswar
The Central Railway has extended the service of summer special trains from Mumbai to Bhubaneswar until June 28, 2024.
Dibrugarh-Secunderabad special service extended
Catering to passenger convenience, the services of special trains between Dibrugarh and Secunderabad have been extended by an additional month.
Ahmedabad-SSS Hubballi Special
The Western Railways has introduced the Ahmedabad-SSS Hubballi special train (07314/13).
Bookings for this service were opened on May 9 at all PRS counters and the IRCTC website.
Bharat Gaurav train from Tirunelveli

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is all set to operate a Bharat Gaurav train called Punya Thirtha Yathirai. The train will start from Tirunelveli to Gaya, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and Varanasi via Tambaram and Chennai Egmore on June 6.
Indian Railways has introduced the concept of operating tourist trains on theme-based circuits under the banner of Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains.
The journeys undertaken on these trains are on diverse circuits that are offered in the form of tour packages, wherein services like off-board travel and excursions by buses, stays at hotels, tour guides, meals, travel insurance, etc. are provided along with comfortable train journeys and allied onboard services.
