BENGALURU: Sampathkumar H Bevoor, a talented spinning allrounder from Dharwad, came out with brilliant bowling performances to enable Jawahar Sports Club (1) of Bengaluru to score back-to-back victories in the KSCA Group I – I, II, and III Division Under-16 Inter-Club Cricket Tournament for 2024–25 being played in Bengaluru.
First, he grabbed the last 3 wickets of Malleswaram Gymkhana, Bengaluru, with his accurate leg breaks to help Jawahar SC(1) win by 65 runs and then came out with excellent bowling figures of 9-3-19-4 to enable his side to thrash Eleven Brothers CC, Magadi, by a huge margin of 191 runs. He did well with the bat too, remaining unbeaten with 20 off 15 deliveries and 2 hits to the fence.
Sampathkumar Bevoor is being trained at the Dharwad-based Vasant Murdeshwar Cricket Academy (VMCA) and plays for the Cricket Club of Karnataka (CCK) in the KSCA Dharwad Zone Senior Division League Tournament.
