HUBBALLI: Dr. Ch. VSV Prasad, managing director of Swarnaa Group of Companies, has congratulated Prahlad Joshi of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on his fifth consecutive victory in the parliamentary elections.

In his congratulatory message, Dr. Prasad has hailed Joshi as a legend and exemplary leader known for his dedication and hard work and also for rendering undaunting services as Central Minister of Coal and Mines to the entire nation and to the people of North Karnataka in particular.

Hoping that Joshi will play a major role in getting sanctions for commencing industries, which enable to generate employment for the youths of North Karnataka, Dr Prasad said that many cities need to be face lifted under the Smart City projects and hoped that the much needed Hubballi-Ankola and Dharwad-Belagavi Railway Line works, pending since long, would be taken up at the earliest.

Prahlad Joshi (7,16,231 votes) defeated his nearest rival Vinod Asuti (6,18,907) of Congress by a huge margin of 97,324 votes in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Dr. Prasad, on behalf of Swarnaa Group of Companies, has also congratulated former chief ministers Jagadish Shetter and Basavaraj Bommai on winning the Lok Sabha elections and entering Parliament for the first time.
